CLAREโs new senior football manager has โa winning mentalityโ and will leave nothing to chance.
Club delegates welcomed the appointment of three-time Clare SFC winning manager, Paul Madden as the Clare senior football manager at Tuesdayโs meeting of the County Board which was held online.
Munster Council delegate, Bernard Keane outlined, โnumber one he has a winning mentality and has achieved success, number two he is very much respected, number three he has a great knowledge of the game and number four he is a Clareman and I think itโs probably time for us to be thinking in those termsโ.
รire รg delegate Bob Loftus strongly supported the appointment of his clubman. โThis is a fantastic appointment for Clare football. His unwavering loyalty to รire รg and to Clare football. He has led รire รg to three county titles. He is a lot more than a manager, he is a leader. He is held in the highest esteem by players, mentors and supporters in รire รg. I expect that all players around the county will be delighted with this appointment. Nothing will be left to chance by Paul. He will build an environment for players to flourishโ, he said.
Irish and Cultural Officer with Clare GAA, Joe Garry commented, โHe brings a wealth of knowledge of the club scene in Clare to the position and he carries the best wishes of all in Clare footballโ.
In a statement, Clare GAA said, “We are delighted to announce Paul Madden as the Clare senior football manager for the next three years.
