Cannabis, tobacco and cash with a combined estimated value of โ‚ฌ21,700 were recovered by Gardaรญ in Parteen this weekend.

On Saturday, Gardaรญ carried out a search of a house in Parteen and seized cannabis, tobacco and โ‚ฌ4500 in cash. Gardaรญ from Mayorstone Park and Henry St Garda stations executed the search warrant with assistance from the Armed Support Unit, shortly before 8am.

During the course of the search, โ‚ฌ15,700 of suspected cannabis and tobacco worth โ‚ฌ1500 were found along with drug paraphernalia. The suspected cannabis has been sent off for analysis.

No arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon but Gardaรญ are following a definite line of enquiry.
