Numerous changes are expected to the Executive of the Clare Schoolboys/Schoolgirls Soccer League at Tuesday’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Chairman Declan Farmer, Vice Chairman Dermot Mahony, Secretary Ciaran O’Dea plus committee members Davy Ryan and John O’Neill are all stepping down from their positions, The Clare Echo has learned.

Shannon’s Donal Kirby who is now attached to Lifford FC has been nominated to succeed Farmer as Chairman. No contests are to take place at Tuesday’s AGM which kicks off at 8pm in Treacys West County Hotel.

Caroline O’Brien of Shannon Town will be joining the Executive as the new secretary along with Avenue Utd’s Nigel Bradish as Treasurer. Conor Twomey is to continue as Fixtures Secretary with Deirdre Shannon moving roles to Vice Chairperson which will also incorporate the PRO duties. Tommy Molloy and Brendan Wall will complete the make up of the committee.

Motions to be dealt with on the night are in relation to notification of meetings with club delegates, the amount of delegates that can attend and voting rights.
