GARDAÍ are continuing their search for a missing Kildare teenager who was last seen in Co Clare.

Sixteen year old Briain Holmes was last seen in Co Clare on Thursday (May 11th) with a search operation involving An Garda Síochána, the Doolin unit of the Irish Coast Guard and Rescue 115 in North Clare.

A missing person’s appeal was issued by Gardaí on Friday. Briain was spotted in Kildare Town on Thursday before leaving the county. Family members are concerned for his wellbeing.

Briain has fair hair and blue eyes. The teenager is described as being 5ft 10in in height, of slim build and was last seen wearing dark clothing – a black jumper, black pants and black runners.

Anyone with information regarding Briain’s whereabouts is urged to contact investigating officers at Kildare Garda Station on 045 527 737, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
