St Josephโs Miltown moved a step closer to a return to the Cusack cup when they defeated a hitherto unbeaten Kilmihil in round 5 of the Garry Cup last Tuesday evening.

The result sees Miltown stay top with maximum points from their five games. St.Josephโs, who are also unbeaten, are now in second place with three wins and two draws from their five outings while Kilmihil are next on seven points.
At the end of an evenly contested first half the sides went to the break on level terms at 0-4 each.
Cormac Murrayโs goal in the third quarter proved to be the decisive score on the evening while David Lernihanโs loss to injury was a blow to the visitors.
