A ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT has caused the temporary closure of the N67 in West Clare.

Motorists have been delayed on their travels this Wednesday morning after a Tesco lorry and trailer went off the road at Caherea. No injuries have been reported.

Emergency services have responded to the scene including a crew from the Clare County Fire and Rescue Service.

Lengthy delays have been experienced since the incident which occurred after 8am with many West Clare residents travelling on the Kilrush to Ennis Rd impacted.
