A guesthouse which once welcomed thousands of visitors to West Clare is up for auction later this month.

The hustle and bustle of tourists filtering through seven-bedroom Kilballyowen Lodge near Carrigaholt is long gone and it is now on the market for €130,000 at Youbid.ie’s latest online auction on August 26.

In need of a full refurbishment, the old style manor building has maintained its character. The 340sq metre property, on 1.4 acres, is located close to the village of Cross and is 7km from Carrigaholt and 15km from Kilkee.

Youbid.ie’s previous live-streamed events have seen 83% of properties listed sold at an average of 14% over reserve prices.

Documentation and brochures are available by registering on Youbid.ie or by calling 01-5676979. Email: info@youbid.ie for more details.
