Gardaí are continuing an investigation into a burglary in Sixmilebridge which took place on Tuesday July 6th.

Two males were observed at the door of a property at Gort an Nuill in Sixmilebridge by the injured party on the day of the burglary.

One of the men was in possession of a metal bat and the other had a baseball bat. The injured party shouted at the two males who then ran and got into a black BMW 5 series which was parked beside the building. It is believed that the car was either a 2004 or a 2007 model 5 series. Both men drove off with the boot open.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Shannon Garda Station at 061-365900.
