An inspection in wet conditions to determine if works to eliminate water ponding at Honan’s Terrace will be completed.

It follows a proposal from Cllr Mark Nestor (FF) who requested that works outside 62 Honan’s Terrace be carried out “to alleviate water ponding”.

Senior executive engineer in the Ennis Municipal District, Eamon O’Dea stated that works to eliminate ponding were previously completed. He committed to carrying out an inspection “during wet conditions to determine if further work is required”.

Cllr Nestor acknowledged that work had been completed in the past. “There is one particular area that is still quite bad,” he flagged. He was hopeful the matter would be rectified and received support via Cllr Clare Colleran Molloy (FF) and Cllr Ann Norton (IND).
