Ex Irish internationals Ray Houghton, Mark Kinsella and Ronnie Whelan will take to the field for a Republic of Ireland team for a special game in Shannon this May.

On Thursday last, Shannon Town Utd launched their masters event, this will be three thirty minute games on May 25th at Lynch Park. A selected group of Shannon Town ‘legends’ will take on a Republic of Ireland selection that will include Whelan, Houghton and Kinsella for all the ticket event.

Shannon’s chosen legends received a presentation from the club last week at the Shannon Springs Hotel who are the main sponsors. The hotel will host a Q&A on the night involving the ex Irish internationals.
