HOTEL WOODSTOCK were among the winners at the Irish Family Awards held last week.

In what is a huge boost to Hotel Woodstock, it was named as hospitality business of the year for 2024 at the Irish Family Business Awards. The Ennis hotel was also shortlisted for best in customer service and the innovative family business award.

Now in their sixty year, the Irish Family Business Awards provide a platform to recognise the contributions of family businesses to the Irish economy and their local communities. From long-established legacy companies to innovative newcomers, the event showcases the diversity and strength of family enterprises.

Co-owners of Hotel Woodstock, the popular husband and wife duo Sean and Elaine Lally both come from a family business background. They said they “are delighted to have won this prestigious award and it is a huge boost to the hotel in the run into the busy year end and the Christmas period and will be used as part of our marketing over the coming months”.

Winners were announced at a sold-out lunch on Friday at the Crowne Plaza in Blanchardstown. Presenter of The Last Word on Today FM and The Path to Power podcast, Matt Cooper was MC for the function.
