One Clare hotel is among five such resorts in the country donating 1,800 free overnight stays to Ireland’s frontline workers.

Hotel Woodstock which is part of Choice Hotel Group who have offered 1,800 free overnight stays for healthcare workers to avail of. The approximate value of these breaks to the company is in excess of €250,000.

CEO of Choice Hotel Group, Andy O’Neill stated, “We want to express our deep gratitude to those on the frontline bravely working on our behalf, and by giving our frontline workers a well deserved break to look forward to when all this is over, is our way of saying thank you. We are forever grateful for the work they are doing for our family, friends, colleagues and of course our country, and we will be forever proud as a country. They are truly amazing people”.

Availability is from 1st August 2020 until 31st July 2021 and on Friday night, all places were snapped up very quickly.

Hotel Woodstock, The g Hotel & Spa, The Hardiman, The House Hotel and Shoreline Hotel are those providing the 1,800 rooms. Owner of Hotel Woodstock, Sean Lally explained that this works at one stay per night at each of the resorts equating at 364 per hotel.
