Clare’s senior footballers have secured home advantage for their NFL semi-final with Mayo.

A win for Clare would see them gain promotion to the top flight of the Allianz National Football League for the first time since March 2002.

Cusack Park in Ennis will host the semi-final tie with the clash to take place on June 13th at 1:45pm. A toss for the venue took place on Monday.

Colm Collins is set to be without Kevin Harnett for the tie, the Newmarket-on-Fergus clubman sustained what is feared to be an achilles injury in Clare’s one point defeat to Cork on Sunday. Conor Jordan was included in the matchday panel for Sunday’s tie with Cork while it is hoped both Podge Collins and Jamie Malone will be available for selection.

Their meeting with James Horan’s side will be Clare’s third home game of the year having recorded a win against Laois in their first round clash before suffering their first defeat of 2021 to Cork over the weekend.
