All TDs and Senators in the region have been invited to attend the meeting along with the Minister for Health.

Members of the public have been encouraged to attend by organisers to participate in the conversation.

Chairperson of Friends of Ennis Hospital, Angela Coll stated, “The meeting aims to bring together members of the public, healthcare professionals and community stakeholders to discuss the current challenges facing healthcare services in the Mid-West and to consider what is needed to ensure safe, sustainable and accessible care for the region into the future”.

She added, “The organisers believe it is vital that elected representatives have the opportunity to hear directly from the community and to engage in open and constructive discussion on the future direction of healthcare services”.
