Scariff remain unbeaten and have moved into second place in Division 1B of the FutureTicketing Clare Cup thanks to this comfortable win over Smith O’Briens in round 4 of the Clare cup on Wednesday evening.

Helped by a goal from a long-range Shane Kavanagh free the winners were 1-9 to 0-5 in front at half time.

A second half goal from Éanna O’Brien helped them to extend their lead and they finished with a comfortable victory.

John Cusack top scored for the home side with 0-4

With three wins and a draw from their four outings to date, they are just a point adrift of Clarecastle.
