Arrangements for the 2021 O’Gorman cup are presently being put in place by the competition organisers, Doonbeg GAA.

First organised in 2006 when Lissycasey were the inaugural winners, the competition commemorates John O’Gorman who devoted many years to Doonbeg and Clare GAA.

Clubs wishing to take part in this year’s competition are asked to contact Doonbeg GAA.

While there are no dates yet for the return of GAA club games, the competition organisers are keen to have details of the format and the participants in place once a return of GAA club games is given the go ahead.

Since its introduction, the competition has been played without the involvement of inter county players. The final is played each year at Shanahan-McNamara Park in Doonbeg.
