Cusack Park and O’Garney Park in Sixmilebridge are to be used as the primary venues for all clashes in the Clare senior hurling championship.

Provisional fixtures have been released to clubs for opening encounters in the Clare SHC and IHC which commence next weekend across the county.

Two fixtures are due to be held on Friday evening with the majority of ties taking place on Saturday.

Games in the Clare SHC are to be played at Cusack Park and O’Garney Park in Sixmilebridge. In the case where there is a double header, a period of time will be set aside in between games to allow for the safe entrance and exit of spectators.

For the Clare IHC, different venues such as Dr Daly Park in Tulla, Fr Murphy Memorial Park in Newmarket-on-Fergus along with GAA grounds belonging to Wolfe Tones na Sionna and Clarecastle have been identified as suitable.

Clare GAA have put in place a COVID-19 compliance committee to prepare for the start of the club championships.

Venues to be utilised for the Clare senior and intermediate football championships have not been decided upon as of yet.
