Consultants have been appointed for the design of a new 26 unit social housing development at Drumcliffe.

Clare County Council’s Social Development Directorate will manage the project design which is also comprised of Vincent Hannon Architects (architects), P Coleman & Associates (civil and structural engineers), Matt O’Mahony Consulting Engineers (mechanical and electrical engineers) and Tom McNamara & Partners (quantity surveyors).

Initial design for the proposed social housing scheme will include 4 four-bed units, 6 three-bed units, 14 two-bed units and 2 specially adapted two-bed units.

An estimated cost of €6,279,889 for the project is to be funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
