Clare have made just one change to their starting team from that which suffered a thirteen point defeat to Tipperary on Sunday, Limerick have also made one alteration to their lineup.

Conor Cleary replaces David Fitzgerald for this weekend’s do or die Munster SHC tie with Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds. Cleary had been suspended for their opening round win over Waterford and made an appearance from the bench in the Tipperary loss.

Clonlara’s Ian Galvin is listed among the substitutes for the first time in a championship game this year having recovered from injury. He is included in the matchday panel at the expense of Michael O’Malley.

Limerick boss John Kiely has also announced his starting fifteen with Dan Morrissey dropped for the first time since 2015, ending a twelve game run. Patrickswell’s Diarmaid Byrnes is handed a jersey in his place with Kilmallock’s Paddy O’Loughlin retained on the other wing.
