CONOR CLEARY has been named to start in Clare’s team for the Munster senior hurling final while Cian Lynch is not included in Limerick’s first fifteen.

Cleary sustained a dislocated shoulder on May 21st in Clare’s one point win over Cork and is appearing to win the fight to be fit for Sunday’s Munster final which takes place at TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick at 1:45pm.

Brian Lohan and his management have said a decision on whether the Miltown Malbay native is ready to line out at full back will be made by their medical team.

Lohan has opted for an unchanged team for the provincial final. There is one change to the matchday squad with Killanena’s Keith Smyth included in the substitutes at the expense of Jack Kirwan. David Reidy continues to be absent from the matchday panel.

Former Hurler of the Year, Cian Lynch is not included in Limerick’s starting team for the second game in a row. Cathal O’Neill has the number eleven jersey instead where he will be flanked by Gearoid Hegarty and Tom Morrissey.

Galway’s Liam Gordon has been appointed as the referee for Sunday’s final.
