With the new inter-county GAA season swinging into action, its an opportune time to take stock of Clare’s hurling and football schedule for the season.

The senior footballers will get their Allianz league schedule underway on Sunday January 28 with a home tie against Sligo. Having been relegated from division 2 at the end of last season, Clare will compete in division 3 this season for the first time in ten years.

The senior hurlers will begin their league campaign on Sunday February 4 with a home tie against Cork in Cusack Park. On the same afternoon the footballers will be away in Mullingar facing Westmeath.

The under 20 footballers will begin their challenge for Munster honours on Saturday March 16 with a trip to Dungarvan to face Waterford.

The under 20 hurlers will open their campaign on Friday April 5 with a home tie against Limerick.

The minor footballers begin their championship on Tuesday April 2 with a home tie againat Waterford while the minor hurlers will begin their challenge for honours on Thursday April 4 and they will also have home advantage against Waterford.
