Clare have discovered their opponents for the county’s first All-Ireland SHC quarter-final appearance since 2018.

Brian Lohan’s men will face beaten Munster finalists on Waterford on Saturday. A venue has yet to be announced but it will be held outside of Croke Park. The other pairing sees All-Ireland champions Tipperary meet Galway.

Led by star man, Tony Kelly, the Banner secured their place in the quarter-finals with a fully merited seven point win over Wexford on Saturday. It followed a one point first round qualifier victory against Laois a week earlier.

Waterford impressed despite losing the Munster Final to Limerick on Sunday. The outfit managed by Liam Cahill of Tipperary have already recorded a championship win when they played Cork.

Should two Munster counties prevail in the quarter-finals, a draw will be required to determine the semi-finals as Clare, Tipp and Waterford have already met Limerick.

All-Ireland SHC Quarter-Finals (21/11/20)
Waterford v Clare in Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 15:45
Galway v Tipperary in LIT Gaelic Grounds at 13:15
