Kilrush Shamrocks GAA club have a new chairman, secretary and treasurer for 2021.

At a well attended annual general meeting which was held in the stand at Captain Michael Tubridy memorial park before the recent level 5 restrictions were introduced in early January, Senan Canny was elected as chairman, succeeding Paddy Cleary.

Outgoing secretary David O’Shea did not seek re-election and he is replaced by John Keane while the new treasurer is Martina O’Brien who replaces Barry O’Brien.

Aidan Daly was re-appointed as senior team manager and he will be joined by Noel O’Brien and Kevin Shalloo who is the new strength and conditioning coach with the team
