All domestic League and Cup action in the St Francis Credit Union Clare District Soccer League (CDSL) slated for this weekend have been postponed.

CDSL officials made the decision to call off games on Thursday evening shortly after Met Éireann placed Co Clare under a Status Red weather warning.

Four ties in the U17 League and three in the U19 equivalent scheduled for Saturday plus matches in the Women’s Senior and U19 leagues are off.

Preliminary clashes in the Clare Cup involving Bridge Utd A and Bunratty/Cratloe, Kilkishen Celtic and Moher Celtic B, Manus Celtic and Fern Celtic will have to be rescheduled.

A total of five games between the Premier, First and Second Division that were fixed for Sunday morning have also been pulled.

Games in the Munster Junior Cup involving Avenue Utd, Ennis Town FC and Shannon Town Utd are still scheduled to proceed. Avenue Utd host Youghal in Lees Rd while Ennis Town and Shannon Town are both on the road, facing Avondale Utd and Carrigaline Utd B respectively.
