CLARE Leader Forum are in the midst of a very busy period.

At the beginning of December to mark the International Day of Disabled People (December 3rd), Clare Leader Forum held Empower, a virtual concert which had a total of over 2,000 people tuning in to watch.

Among the musicians partaking were Fionn Angus on the fiddle, “Where else would you see lads doing Irish Dancing only in Miltown Malbay at the Post Office run by Eugene Donnellan. The dancers took part in the concert from the Donnellan Dancing School,” remarked Dermot Hayes of Clare Leader Forum.

On Friday, Treacy’s West County Hotel was the venue as the Leader Forum had its Christmas lunch with twenty members attending.

Work is ongoing as the Clare Leader Forum puts together a short film with Grey Heron, their latest recording session took place on Wednesday at Cois na hAbhna. They are hopeful this will be launched at the end of January.
