Strong demand accompanied the return of Ennis Tennis Club on Monday.

Courts were busy from 8am on Monday with members itching to hit the courts for the first time of 2021. Their return was accompanied by glorious sunshine.

Ennis Tennis Club was founded in 1887 and is one of the oldest in the country. The site and buildings are owned by the Club and are located near the centre of the town.

Over 300 members are signed up to Ennis Tennis Club which will shortly redevelop its three courts by installing new Domo Ultra Topspin Court Surfaces and new LED Floodlights. This development is funded with the assistance of a Sports Capital Grant and from the club’s resources.

Membership for New Members will be available from the end of May and to celebrate both reopening and the Club’s new development a special introductory offer of €164 for 2021 is available.

All new adult members receive two complimentary Group Coaching sessions to get you started as well as a dedicated Tennis Express programme.
