Parts of Dromaan Harbour which were “badly damaged” by roots of trees are to be remedied.
A section of tarmac at the East Clare harbour was “badly damaged by the roots of trees,” Cllr Pat Burke (FG) flagged as he called on the local authority to carry out repairs. His plea was seconded by Cllr Pat Hayes (FF).
“Following an assessment of the location in question, I can confirm that the Killaloe Municipal District will carry out works to remedy this situation,” senior executive engineer, Niamh Madden stated in response to his motion.
