*The grandparents reside in Ballymaley. TWO ENNIS grand-parents of 29 grand-children have succeeded in having their daily curfew bail conditions relaxed after complaining that the 10pm to 7am curfew placed them under house arrest in their own home.
*The trial is expected to continue to the end of the week. A JURY has been told in a coercive control trial that audio recordings made by a mother and her daughter will make for “difficult listening” in the trial.
*The incident was described as “very unusual”. AN ALLEGED intruder trespassed onto a woman’s property and bit her on the buttocks during the course of a late night assault on her.
*The woman also secured a Protection Order. A JUDGE has granted a man a domestic violence Protection Order against his wife after he lifted his top in court to show a two inch mark on his chest from a knife.
*A special session will be required for the case. A JUDGE has described a case where a County Galway farmer is accused of assaulting his neighbouring farmer with an iron bar as “an epic district court case”.

*The woman is awaiting a bed at the Central Mental Hospital. The 46-year old mother accused of attempting to murder her eight year daughter has been returned for trial to the Central Criminal Court.
