Aoibhín Garrihy and John Burke have announced they are expecting their second child together.

Writing in her fortnightly Love Clare column in The Clare Echo, Aoibhín expressed their happiness with the pregnancy. “We are so delighted to say our little Hanorah will be a big sister this winter please God and we are so delighted”.

In June of last year, the couple welcomed the birth of Hanorah with Aoibhín regularly keeping followers of hers posted on social media and in her regular column on family life.

Since tying the knot in October 2016, John and Aoibhín have resided permanently in Co Clare. Subsequent to moving from Dublin, she alongside Sharon Connellan has established BEO, a health and wellness brand which to date has raised €30,000 for youth wellness.

Married life has seen John become the first Clare man to climb Mount Everest and later the founder of The Elevate Foundation which aspires to fund the very best mental health and well-being professionals in their field to connect with young people in Co. Clare, through schools and youth organisations.
