The much-anticipated Annual Charity Golf Classic is set to take place at Limerick Golf Club, Ballyclough, on Friday, April 25, 2025. This year’s event will be held a little earlier than usual in hopes of accommodating more participants. The tournament will run from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and again from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with tee times allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is organized in support of Down Syndrome Ireland, a charity that has been a valued partner for several years. Funds raised during the day will go directly to supporting the important work the charity does for people with Down syndrome and their families.

Teams of four can enter for €500, or individuals can sign up for €125 each, with organizers forming teams for solo participants. In addition to the golf, refreshments will be served at the 9th tee, and a meal will be available in the clubhouse after the game. The prize giving and a raffle will take place once all scorecards are returned, with exciting prizes up for grabs.

There are also several opportunities for local businesses to get involved. Sponsorship packages include the option to sponsor a tee for €200, or the chance to sponsor the Longest Drive or Nearest the Pin prize for €250 each. For those unable to participate as players or sponsors, donations for the raffle are always appreciated. The raffle is a popular part of the event, and all contributions will help raise funds for a great cause.

To make a booking or for more information, please contact Angela McCabe at angela.mccabe@radissonblu.com or call 061 456 200.

Down Syndrome Ireland expresses their gratitude for the support of the local community, and the Golf Classic provides a perfect opportunity for businesses to meet in a relaxed and enjoyable setting while contributing to an important cause.

Don’t miss out on this fun-filled day that promises both great golf and the chance to make a positive impact in the community. We look forward to seeing you on the green!
