Woodstock’s Aideen Walsh has retained the Ulster women’s strokeplay title.

Aideen was the only player to finish under par, she claimed the crown at Belvoir Park Golf Club on Wednesday. She finished with an impressive score of -5.

Alongside Jake Whelan, Colm Campbell and Jack Hearn they make up the nominees for the May Bridgestone Player of the Month, voting for which opens on Golf Ireland’s Twitter page from Wednesday afternoon and runs until 5pm on Friday.

The winner will join Olivia Lucas in the Bridgestone Roll of Honour for 2022, after the Lahinch golfer won the April award with over 45% of the vote.

Walsh who is a member of Lahinch Golf Club jumps to the top five of the Women’s Bridgestone Tours standings following her win at the Ulster Men’s & Women’s Strokeplay.
