CLARE’s first outing of the year has been moved from Thursday evening to Saturday afternoon.
Colm Collins’ senior footballers welcome Cork to Hennessy Memorial Park in Miltown Malbay for their first game of the year.
Originally due to be held on Thursday evening, the fixture will now throw in at 2pm on Saturday after Collins and Clare agreed to a request from Cork to move the game to the weekend.
Collins’ side had been due to begin their campaign on Sunday away to Waterford but the tie was postponed on account of a high amount of close contacts and injuries on the Déise panel.
