Lee Devitt has signed a new deal with Cobh Ramblers to keep him at the Cork club until the end of next season.
Newmarket-on-Fergus native Devitt committed to the club for 2021 after signing a new deal with Cobh Ramblers in the past week.
In 2020, Lee was one of only two Cobh players to feature in every single game across all competitions for the club (21) alongside centre-half Charlie Lyons. The St Caimin’s Community School past pupil scored two goals for Ramblers this season, both of them in their 4-0 victory at home to Wexford FC in August.
Devitt first came to prominence with Shannon Hibernians before lining out at U17 and U19 level for Limerick FC. He made his senior debut for the Blues in 2019 and moved to Cobh for the 2020 League of Ireland campaign.
“I’m delighted to have signed back for the coming season and I can’t wait to get going again. It was disappointing last year to miss out on the play-offs but we were all eager to build on it and put it right next year. I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead and the first game of the new season just can’t come around quick enough,” Lee said of his new deal with Cobh.
