A Killaloe based public relations firm has been acquired by global management consulting company, Teneo.

Former Tipperary Star and Irish Independent journalist, Eugene Hogan founded Bridge PR in 2011. Shannon Group which includes Shannon Airport, Shannondoc, Clare FM, Doolin2Aran Ferries, Shannon College of Hotel Management, Clean Ireland Recycling, Tipperary County Council, Limerick Chamber and Limerick City and County Council are among some of the Killaloe firmโ€™s clients.

Hogan was confident that by joining Teneo, Bridge PR would be able โ€œto scale our operations and deepen resources for the growing portfolio of clients we have developed. To have a global leader acquire our business is a very positive validation of what we do, of our client base, and indeed, our team”.

โ€œWe look forward to bringing this additional expertise and resource to bear for our clients, jointly growing our operations and delivering on this vote of confidence in our business here by Teneo,โ€ the Oโ€™Briensbridge resident added.

Chairman and CEO of Teneo, Declan Kelly said they were โ€œdelightedโ€ to welcome Mr Hogan his team as part of their expanded service. โ€œIreland continues to be an important market for many of the worldโ€™s leading companies,โ€™ the Tipperary native added. Teneoย operates consultancies employing 800 people in Dublin, London, Brussels, and in other parts of the world. Kelly is a long time friend of Hogan, Bridge PR will continue to trade under its current name.

โ€œThis acquisition gives us additional reach and a strong profile in the Mid-West and I firmly believe Eugene and his team will bring significant added value to Teneo and our clients,โ€ CEO of Teneo Ireland, Mick Oโ€™Keeffe stated. โ€œWe have grown substantially over the last few years and this move will enhance our strategic communications, leadership advisory and content creation capabilitiesโ€.
