Love Island winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Rose Gill chose Co Clare as the location for their reunion as they spent their first weekend together in Ireland since leaving the villa.

On Friday, Newcastle’s Amber jetted into Dublin Airport where she was collected by Greg who hails from Corbally, Co Limerick. The pair won the popular ITV series which attracts millions of viewers in Ireland and the UK, in the process they shared the €55,000 prize.

Since the conclusion of the series, Greg spent some time in the UK with Amber and her family before being welcomed home by hundreds of fans at Shannon Airport. He has recently returned to his Dublin home, prior to that he was staying with family in Limerick.

Over the weekend, Greg and Amber stayed at the five star Dromoland Castle with O’Shea posting on Instagram, “Big thanks to Dromoland Castle Hotel for making the home visit even more special”. They also travelled to the Cliffs of Moher with Amber sharing pictures and a caption that read, “Visiting Ireland with the best tour guide”.

As Tipperary claimed the All-Ireland SHC title at the expense of Kilkenny in Croke Park, the duo are have said they are dating but are not yet a couple were present among the spectators having received much sought after tickets from Guinness.

Another member of the Love Island cast will be in Co Clare next weekend as Molly Mae Hague gets set to head to the Queens Nightclub on Saturday August 24th.
