Clare captain Patrick O’Connor will make his League start of the year when Wexford come to Ennis on Sunday.

Tubber’s O’Connor comes into the side at wing back in place of Cathal Malone. The other change from the Clare fifteen that lost to Cork on Saturday sees Donal Tuohy replace Keith Hogan between the posts. The Clooney/Quin netminder has been left out of the panel for Sunday’s tie.

For the first time in the 2019 Allianz National Hurling League, Seadna Morey and Aron Shanagher are included amongst the subs. Due to their Fitzgibbon Cup commitments, Colin Guilfoyle and Gary Cooney are unavailable for selection.

Donal Moloney and Gerry O’Connor are in search of their second League win this year when they welcome Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford to Cusack Park. Throw in on Sunday is at 2pm.
