Marty and Ksenia Pic: @MartyM_RTE

THE Marty Party was in full swing again on Sunday as Clare’s favourite GAA commentator sailed through the sixth round.

He secured himself a comfortable 12 points to follow last week’s score of 15.

Marty and Ksenia bopped and hopped their way around the stage to the Charleston, to the delight of the packed house.

The judges were constructive in their critique of Marty and Ksenia’s dazzling dance, with judge Brian Redmond stating the performance needed to “flow and connect a bit more”.

Judge Julian said: “You definitely brought the Marty Party tonight. Let’s just start by saying that. Week on week you give it your everything on the floor. You try your best you give it your everything on the floor which is great”.

Maia Dunphy and Robert Rowinski were not so fortunate and had to finish up with a very exuberant tango performance which scored them 19 points, not quite good enough for the public who still voted them out.

“Can’t thank you all enough for voting. Yes it is a challenge and yes it is changing all the time. It’s my biggest challenge yet and I really appreciate all your support,” were Marty’s words later that evening from Twitter.
