John Creedon and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin Pic: RTE

IF YOU’RE anything like us, there’s a good chance you’re still not fully recovered from the epic week that was the Fleadh Cheoil.

The pub crawls, the hot food vans, the warm beer in the plastic cups, the unreal trad music sessions and the endless Michael Flatley selfies in the hazy summer sun (ahem, rain) will stick with us for a long time.

It gave the town of Ennis and the surrounding areas a great boost and we can’t wait for it to come back to the Banner.

Now is your chance to relive the magic, as RTE are about to air a new series showcasing some of the best parts of the week.

John Creedon and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin took to the streets of Ennis and chatted with the best musicians from Co Clare and way beyond.

In the first episode, we will meet Dúchas, the Nesbitt Family, and Co Clare musicians Therese McInerney, Brian and Keith O’Loughlin and Brian Donnellan.

Settle in with a cuppa and a treat to relive the magic and tune in to RTE One on Friday, January 19 at 7.30pm for the first episode.

Be warned though, you will be donning the dancing shoes and seeking out the nearest trad session once it’s over.
