The social housing scheme planned for Roslevan came a step closer to realisation today as Clare County Council officially appointed the design team for the project.

The eight unit scheme in Roslevan is funded by the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government and is scheduled for completion in 2019.

Almost €1.6 million was approved for the scheme in May, under the Rebuilding Ireland Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness.

“The houses will be designed to a high standard, addressing house, landscape and amenity design in a style complimentary to the units already completed on the site and to ensure best fit and integration under sustainable community guidelines,” a spokesperson for Clare County Council said.

The project design team, managed by Clare County Council, is made up of Hassett Leyden & Associates (Architects/PSDP), P Coleman & Associates (Civil Structural Engineers), Matt O’Mahony & Associates Ltd. (M&E Engineers) and Tom McNamara & Ptnrs (Quantity Surveyors).
