A LOTTO player who bought a winning ticket in Miltown Malbay has until close of business today, Friday, October 23, to claim a €89,430 prize, with the National Lottery making a final appeal for the winner to come forward.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at McNamee’s Londis on Bank Place, Miltown Malbay, for the Lotto draw on Saturday, July 25.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer urged players to make one last search for the ticket, particularly those who may have visited the town during the summer.

“Today is the final opportunity for this winner to come forward and claim their €89,430 Lotto prize,” he said.

“The ticket was purchased during the height of summer in one of Clare’s busiest tourist spots, so we’re appealing not only to local players but also to anyone who may have been visiting or passing through the area at the time to check their tickets once more.”

Mr O’Dwyer encouraged anyone who had already checked their tickets to look again, suggesting they search old jackets, handbags, wallets, cars, kitchen drawers and holiday luggage.

“The winning ticket could still be hiding in plain sight and it’s worth €89,430 to the person holding it,” he said.

The winning numbers for the July 25 draw were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43 and 46. The bonus number was 37.

Lotto players have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim a prize. Anyone holding the winning ticket should sign the back of it and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to begin the claims process.
