MARK Rodgers and Ryan Taylor have been ruled out with injury for Clare’s final game in the round robin series of the Munster championship.

Both Rodgers and Taylor were forced off in Saturday’s eleven point win over Tipperary which sealed Clare’s qualification to the All-Ireland SHC for the first time since 2024.

Captain Tony Kelly who went off with an ankle injury has been named in the first fifteen.

Ian Galvin who scored a goal after replacing Rodgers and 2024 All Star David Fitzgerald enter the team in the absence of the injured duo with Keith Smyth and Jack Kirwan listed on the bench. Galvin and Fitzgerald are in the starting side for the first time in the 2026 provincial campaign.

Having made their first starts of this year’s championship, David McInerney and John Conlon retain their spots in defence with Darragh Lohan continuing in the full-back line with Adam Hogan.

Feakle’s Eibhear Quilligan continues between the posts with Diarmuid Ryan and Niall O’Farrell flanking Conlon in the half-back line.

Cork’s Robert Downey who had been expected to miss the remainder of the Munster championship has recovered from an ankle injury to take his place at centre back.

Ben O’Connor makes two changes from their team which defeated Waterford, Downey is in at the expense of injured captain Darragh Fitzgibbon while Hugh O’Connor who made his debut a fortnight ago makes way for U20 Barry Walsh.

Páirc Uí Chaoimh is sold out for Sunday’s game which commences at 16:00 and has Limerick official Johnny Murphy as referee.
