NEWLY appointed CEO of the Shannon Airport Group, Ray O’Driscoll’s “comprehensive understanding” of the entity’s operations has the organisation poised “for continued growth and success”.

Shannon Chamber has expressed confidence that the appointment of the Cork native will lead the Shannon Airport Group to further heights.

O’Driscoll has been a Director with Shannon Chamber since 2021 and his board colleague said they have witnessed first-hand his “astute leadership” which has been recognised with his appointment.

President of Shannon Chamber, Mark Nolan said, “Over the past seven months, as interim CEO, Ray has successfully guided the Group, with the results of his leadership clearly reflected in the recently published 2025 Annual Report. His comprehensive understanding of the Group’s operations, combined with his strong focus on optimising performance and enhancing Shannon’s profile, positions the organisation for continued growth and success.

“We are confident that under Ray’s leadership, The Shannon Airport Group will continue to achieve significant milestones in the years ahead. We wish Ray and his team every success as they drive the Group to new heights. Shannon Chamber will continue to support The Shannon Airport Group in their endeavours under Ray’s leadership”.
