A LATE venue change has resulted in Clare’s minor football clash with Tipperary moving to Clarecastle while there is one switch in the starting team.
Clarecastle will now be the venue for the meeting of Clare and Tipperary in the third round of phase one of the provincial championship.
With one win and one defeat, Clare must defeat Tipperary and need Waterford to defeat Limerick for them to record a second place finish in phase one and advance to phase two of the championship.
Munster GAA in a statement said of the venue change, “Clare GAA have indicated that Páirc Naomh Mhuire Quilty is unplayable for the minor football game on this Monday night. As a result, Clare’s game with Tipperary will now take place in Clarecastle at 7pm on Monday April 13th”.
Joe Hayes’ side shows one change from the first fifteen which defeated Limerick 0-14 1-10 on Monday last.
Paddy Neylon is ruled out with injury and Daniel Healy who started the first round against Waterford returns to the first fifteen. Positional switches are expected to the team which has been announced.
