O’CALLAGHANS MILLS toasted their return to the ranks of Clare senior hurling at the club’s recent social.

Held at The Inn at Dromoland, the winners of the Clare premier intermediate hurling championship were presented with their medals by two-time All-Ireland winning Clare manager, Ger Loughnane.

Chairman of Clare GAA, Kieran Keating was among the special guests gathered at the victory social.

Captained by centre-back Aidan O’Gorman, the Mills won the Clare PIHC beating Clarecastle 2-19 1-16 in October to lift the Paddy Browne Cup and bounce back to the senior ranks at the first time of asking.

Bodyke native Seán Doyle was manager of the Mills and was joined in the management by Clare TD, Joe Cooney (FG), club chairman Robbie Madden and Patsy O’Donnell.
