GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses following an incident of robbery that occurred at a commercial premises in Carrigaholt, Co Clare on Wednesday 21st January 2026 at approximately 3:15pm.

A woman in her 40s received treatment for non-life threatening injuries. A quantity of cash was reported as stolen.

Four men, aged in their 30s, have been arrested and conveyed to Garda Stations in Co Clare. They’re currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to contact them. Anyone who was in The Square, Carrigaholt, Co Clare area on Wednesday 21st January 2026 between 3pm and 3:30pm and who may have any information is asked to contact investigating Gardaí. Any road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make that footage available.
