Ennis Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club recently held its 2025 Tennis Club Championship. A huge entry of 153 participants entered the two week event which consisted of singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions.
A number of historic perpetual cups were presented as the competition culminated on Saturday, including the Men’s Singles trophy which Ciarรกn O’Brien won for a 8th time, tying with record holder Larry Power, while Sarah McSwiney took home the top prize in the Ladies equivalent.ย 
A spokesperson from Ennis LTBC told The Clare Echo, โ€œA huge thank you to our main championship sponsor Ennis Dental Health Centre for your continued support, and also to Liscannor Flagstone Quarries.

 

โ€œWe also ran a very successful raffle over the two weeks. Amazing prizes were sponsored by local businesses; Moloney Fuels, Taylors Bar, Dan McInerney & Sons, Patrick Bourke Menswear, TRUTH, The Snackshack, Blackbird, Brogans, TALE Security, Mangans Wholesalers, Youtherapies, Hollyโ€™s Haven Pharmacy, as well as other individual sponsored prizes.โ€
