DRAWS for this season’s under 21 Berwick Callina Murphy solicitors hurling and football championships were made on Tuesday evening.

Under 21 hurling will have four grades, A, B, C and D while there will be A, B and C competitions in football.

As per a motion passed at convention last year, the A and B grades are confined to eight teams.

The competitions will begin in early October and the detailed fixtures will be sent to the clubs in the coming days.

The groupings are

U21 A Hurling
Group 1: Clooney/Quin, Clarecastle, Sixmilebridge, Éire Óg
Group 2: St Joseph’s Doora/Barefield, Ballyea, Cratloe, Inagh/Kilnamona

U21 B Hurling
Group 1: Tulla, Broadford, Clonlara, Scariff/Ogonnelloe
Group 2: Kilmaley, Feakle/Killanena, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Corofin/Ruan

U21 C Hurling
Group 1: Banner, Corofin, Parteen/Meelick, Crusheen
Group 2: Ruan, Smith O’Briens, Ennistymon, O’Callaghans Mills
Group 3:” Wolfe Tones, Whitegate, Bodyke, Tubber

U21 D Hurling
Group 1: St. Josephs, Doora/Barefield, Inagh/Kilnamona, Clonlara
Group 2; Clooney/Quin, Sixmilebridge, Ballyea
Group 3; Éire Óg, Clarecastle, Scariff/Ogonnelloe
