RUAN’s Shane Punch and Isobelle McInerney, Jamie Moroney from O’Callaghans Mills, Broadford duo Áine Boland and Ava Reddan plus Sophie Sheedy of Scariff/Ogonnelloe will represent Clare in the MD Sports Munster Poc Fada Final this Saturday.

The 2025 M Donnelly Munster Poc Fada Final for Senior and Under 16 Hurling and Camogie participants will take place this Saturday in the Galtee Mountains hosted by local club Garryspillane.

At the Clare Poc Fada finals held recently on the lands of Broadford GAA Chairman, John O’Brien in Kilbane, Punch won the senior title ahead of Clare goalkeeper Éamonn Foudy and Moroney took the spoils in the U16 title.

Clare’s camogie representatives are McInerney and Boland in the senior with Reddan and Sheedy flying the county flag in the U16 competition.

Reigning provincial champion Colin Ryan will be defending his title against Punch.

It is the first time that the hurling and camogie poc fada competitions take place on the same day. The competition is sponsored by Cooraclare native, Martin Donnelly.
