CLARE’s fourth round tie in the Allianz National Football League has been postponed.

Unplayable conditions in Markievicz Park and the inability to find an alternate location in Sligo have been cited by Clare GAA as the reasons for the postponement.

Peter Keane’s side were looking to pick up their third win in succession while Sligo are still searching for their first win in Division 3.

Details on a refixture have yet to be announced.

Sligo is one of fifteen counties under a status yellow wind and rain warning on Sunday. Heavy rain and high winds are forecast on Sunday with the warning in place from 2am until 3pm on Sunday. This warning is in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, all of Munster, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim and Mayo.

Additionally Sligo, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Galway have a further yellow wind warning from 3pm on Sunday to midnight.
