SIX CLUBS booked their spot in the second round of the Ennis Carpets Clare Cup over the weekend. 

Premier Division side Kilrush Rangers were dumped out on penalties by Newmarket Celtic B back in Kilrush while Kilkishen Celtic survived a scare from Avenue Utd B to come from behind twice to emerge victorious.

Bridge Celtic, Bridge Utd, Newmarket Celtic A and Moher Celtic also prevailed while in the preliminary round there wer wins for Shannon Hibs A and Lifford FC.
